I am a 22-year-old Moroccan architecture and urban design student from Morocco. My four years of studies helped me develop many skills and abilities regarding architectural design and urban planning. I learned from different architecture firms based in Morocco as well as discovered a whole other perspective of architecture from my volunteering work. I worked with multidisciplinary teams on different projects regarding sustainable urban design, rural development and architectural heritage… and discovered the challenges but also the beauty of entrepreneurship and leadership by joining and collaborating with youth-led organizations such as the Africa Innovation Network. Today, I define myself as a young urban planner engaged to a global society believing in the power of urban planning as a medium of change in society.
