I am an architect and landscape architect with studies in Greece, Italy and England and have worked in Greece, Cyprus and most recently Sweden. I have led my own office in Greece with a small group of architects, to public projects and competitions, one of which has been built and several of which have been awarded. In Sweden, I have been working for Ramboll in Stockholm, undertaking creative public projects, such as public squares, parks, waterscapes, schoolyards and new urban areas. I have been fortunate to have won awards for my work, but I continue to strive for even higher quality and innovative thinking in each new project. I am active in the industry and always looking for new collaborations with people in the same interest. Therefore I am, or have been a member also of PHALA (Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects), IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects), AIAPP (Associazione Italiana Architettura Del Paesaggio/IFLA), Urban Landscape Institute/ULI, Le:Notre Institute and SADAS-PEA/ACE-CAE). Some topics I am passionate about are: social interaction for a living city, biodiversity for a healthy environment, accessibility for an inclusive society and aesthetic quality for the creation of places rich in identity. In addition to that, I seek to create creative solutions that have the same impact on people as much as Art. My belief is that good design can provide spiritual, social and psychological well-being that leads to life satisfaction. All these could finally lead to social sustainability, which is the main goal for a successful public project! Being informed and updated in everything that has to do with European standards, regulations in the EU and Sweden as well as innovations in landscape architecture is my passion. Focusing on the SDGs in Agenda 2030, the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and the cultural and design goals of the New European Bauhaus, I am willing to play an important role in the design of urban, peri-urban and rural planning.
